Allecia Harley, a Social Impact Strategist at IntuWork Consulting, is the author of the forthcoming book, "Painless Strategic Action Planning: The Surprisingly Simple Way to Achieve Extraordinary Results."
After witnessing firsthand the struggles of nonprofit leaders with traditional strategic planning models, Allecia Harley felt compelled to offer a better way.
She believes these outdated models, designed for corporations, often drain resources and limit impact for social impact organizations.
In this book, she provides a clear alternative: the social impact way, a streamlined approach that prioritizes action and results. By the end, leaders will have the knowledge and tools to implement an innovative, practical, and painless strategic action planning process.
Prior work includes The Chicago Community Trust, The University of Michigan, Complete Care Management Partners, Volunteers of America, The University of Chicago, The Center for Health Affairs, and many others.
Allecia holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree from Spelman College. She lives in Chicago with her husband, teenage son, and their dog, Cassius Clay, a boxer.
